Initial Consultation

We conduct a free 30 minute telephone or SKYPE consultation to discuss employment options and the job search process. In addition, we examine your experience, skill base, education and permanent residency options.

Job Search

Employers across Canada hire us to find qualified and suitable candidates for their in-demand and hard to fill trades/ occupations.  In some cases, we may already have the LMIA government approval (Labour Market Impact Assessment) in place. If not, we work with the employer to get it done!

Before we start the job search, we ensure that your CV/ Resume is Canadianized and specific to the trade. We also ensure that you meet the Canadian trade requirements. We contact employers on your behalf and encourage them to conduct an interview, and we prepare you for that interview.

EXPRESS ENTRY (EE) (Includes Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP), and Canadian Experience Class (CEC)

Express Entry is the Canadian government's system to manage applications for Permanent Residency through one of the Federal Immigration Programs:  Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trade Class, and Canadian Experience Class. Provinces and territories can also recruit candidates from the Express Entry system through their Provincial Nominee Programs, in order to meet local labour needs. The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) is a points based system and points are awarded using the information provided in your Express Entry profile. The highest-ranking candidates in the pool will be invited to apply for permanent residence. A Job Offer or a Provincial Nomination will earn you an additional 600 points towards receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residence. Entry into the Express Entry pool does not guarantee a candidate will be issued an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residence. Invited candidates still have to meet eligibility and admissibility requirements under Canada’s immigration law.

Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)

This is a points based program. Points are calculated based on: language proficiency, education, work experience, age, arranged employment and adaptability. You may be eligible for this program if your occupation is on the list to the right - "FSWP Occupations".  We will consult with you to determine if you have the points required to qualify under this program. We will register your profile on Express Entry (EE), and if you are issued an Invitation to Apply (ITA) we will complete your application for Permanent Residence.

Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)

This program was implemented to respond to certain "in demand" labour shortages in Canada that result from ongoing economic growth.  You may be eligible for this program if your occupation is on the list to the right - "FSTP Occupations".  We will consult with you to determine if you qualify under this program and discuss all the requirements. We will register your profile on Express Entry and if you are issued an Invitation to Apply (ITA) we will complete your application for Permanent Residence.

Canadian Experience Class (CEC)

To be eligible for the Canadian Experience Class, candidates must have a minimum of 12 months of full time hours, or the equivalent in part-time hours of Canadian work experience in a qualifying occupation.  The Canadian work experience must be within the three years before you apply.  We will consult with you to determine if you qualify under this program and discuss all the requirements. We will register your profile on Express Entry and if you are issued an Invitation to Apply (ITA) we will complete your application for Permanent Residence.

Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)

Since January 1, 2015, many provinces and territories have launched new Express Entry streams.  You must meet the eligibility requirements of the province or territory for either the online Express Entry process or the paper-based process.  Each province and territory has its own “streams” (immigration programs that target certain groups) and specific requirements.  We will help you to find the province and 'stream' that give you the best chance of success. We will register your profile on Express Entry and if you are issued an Invitation to Apply (ITA), we will complete your application for Permanent Residence. Or, we can apply using the paper-based process.

Provincial Trade Assessment

If you are in a regulated/compulsory trade, you must have your trade assessed in preparation to write the Canadian licensing exam once you are working in Canada. We advise you and help you through the online trade assessment application process. A fee to the provincial trade authority applies.

Work Permit Extension

If you are a foreign worker, you need a temporary work permit in order to live and work in Canada. You may be able to extend your work permit, change the conditions of your work permit or apply to immigrate to Canada. We can help.

"Canadianize" Your CV/ Resume

We will review and revise your CV to meet Canadian standards. This is important because your CV is your first impression and we want it to be the best!  We'll collaborate with you to list detailed and relevant information on your work experience and skill base, information that you may not have thought important. We know what the employers want and we want to present you in the best possible way!
